I came across this on YouTube, and thought it was appropriate for this Easter Sunday!

This video shows the dramatic changes in the world, workforce, and technology in such a short span of time.

Thanks to lds9999 for sharing this with all of us. I literally wept when I heard it, it’s just so touching, and it reminded me of my own conversion story. If you’re feeling down or sad, or even if you’re having the greatest day I so recommend that you watch this.

This is my “down in the dumps” song. Whenever I get sad or depressed or generally not feeling well emotionally I play the song over and over again and I feel better. It’s not one of James Blunt’s popular songs, but I heard it on his Back to Bedlam CD and I’ve liked it ever since. Here’s the “Live” version, but not bad for a live version.

I’ve been listening to this song a lot lately, I’m definitely the sentimental type so it fits right in with that. I’m not the biggest Brad Paisley fan, but occasionally he really comes out with one that just touches your heart. This one is one of those songs. It’s from Brad’s 5th Gear CD and titled “Letter to Me”.

Watch it, and tell me what you think…

You know how sometimes you just have one of those days where sentimentality runs through your veins? I guess I have more days like that then most, but for what it’s worth I’ve become a big fan of Dan Fogelberg. It’s sad that I really didn’t hear his music before he died (well, I heard it casually just like any song you hear on the radio but I never went out of my way to listen to him). Well, when he died back in December (which was already a rough month given Devon’s sickness and death) I was curious to hear it after hearing a quick sample on the news. I was struck by his voice. I don’t know why he didn’t gain more popularity than he did.

I guess you’d call the following song one of his “trademarks”, it’s off of his The Very Best of Dan Fogelberg CD. I hope you enjoy!

I know I’ve been playing this up a lot lately, but this site about our redeemer Jesus Christ is absolutely incredible.

Below Elder Russell M. Nelson, one of the apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) Introduces JesusChrist.lds.org, a new website about the Savior Jesus Christ.

Absolutely HYSTERICAL!!!

ldsWebGuy has this story on his blog Promoting the appropriate use of the Web to spread information about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Here’s an example of one of the videos titled, “Are Mormons Christian”?

Figured I’d get back to the more spiritual side of blogging, and move the Video Gaming post down on the page. Here is a beautiful video montage of LDS Temples, has some pretty music to go along with it as well. Hope you’re all enjoying your sabbath, and to those of you LDS like me General Conference also.

It’s kind of funny, I first heard this song when Hillary Clinton was asking for votes on what would be her campaign theme song. When it was determined to be this one, I probably heard it off of her website about a million times because I just loved it so much. Not to say I’m in love with her, or her political agenda, but I can promote good music when I see it.

Anyway, without further adieu here’s Celine Dion’s You and I courtesy of YouTube.

These things bring back so many memories for me.

I’ve just loved going through YouTube and finding old videos of Mort Crim doing the news on WDIV/TV4 from when he was Chief Anchor for the station.
