I haven’t liked Dan Rather since he disrespected the first President Bush back in 1988 (will post video later of their encounter).

But when he did what he did in terms of smearing the current President Bush, made me lose all respect for the man.

Now comes his preposterous claim that he was the fall guy in the CBS News organization over those forged documents regarding President Bush’s military service. It’d be laughable if he was joking about this, but he’s far from it.

Read the story and give me your opinion.

I received this scam email today purported to be from the IRS, and what a scam it is.

Here’s a copy of the email:

Here is a copy of the website for which the link takes you to:

This things a real doozy, it asks for your Social Security Number, Your Credit Card Number (because it supposedly will be depositing your “refund” onto your credit card), your expiration date, the card code, an electronic signature (which they want you to give them your credit card PIN number for), and your issuing bank name.

Please don’t fall for this, and be on the lookout for it. Also, alert all of your friends to this scam. I can just imagine how many people fall for this, and how many people have their financial lives ruined over it.
