Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton threw up a roadblock on Sen. Barack Obama’s path to the Democratic presidential nomination by winning the giant Ohio and Texas primaries, NBC News projected Wednesday morning.“For everyone here in Ohio and across America who’s been counted out and refused to be knocked out, and for everyone who has stumbled but stood right back up, and for everyone who works hard and never gives up, this one is for you,” Clinton said at a raucous rally in Columbus on a night when she took both of the two major prizes on offer.
Clinton, D-N.Y., and Obama, D-Ill., split the smaller Rhode Island and Vermont primaries, according to NBC News .

I’ve never voted for a Democrat in my life, but next Tuesday, November 6th, 2007 that’s exactly what I’m going to do. I’m voting for Steve Beshear for Governor of Kentucky, against my fellow Republican Ernie Fletcher. Fletcher has been a BIG disappointment in my book, and Kentucky Republicans need a massive wake up call. We had Democrats for years in the Governors Mansion, and we’ve made tremendous inroads in terms of National Congressional and Senatorial Leadership. We need to find a candidate who can lead this state, but first we need four years of a Beshear administration. I’m going to stand behind our new Governor and see what he can accomplish. I’ll be pulling for him all the way, but, we are Republicans in the state of KY need to find a person who people can depend on again. Not now though, it’s time for a change.
